DUer's in the Dallas/Fort Worth area..please consider giving blood this weekend

PLEASE think about stopping by your local blood bank and donating blood this weekend or Monday if you can do so.
It is being reported that the local blood banks were already at a critical low prior to the charter bus tragedy/crash in Sherman, TX this morning. A spokeperson said that pre-accident they only had a DAY'S worth of blood on their shelves. Now with SO many critically injured and spread around various Metroplex hospitals, the need now is even greater.

Local spokesperson said that the most needed is "type O" but no doubt they will use/appreciate ANY bloodtype given the shortage.

1. Has any blood bank ever been at anything but a "critical low"?

I'm not doubting the shortage, just observing that I've never seen a blood bank say "It's O.K....we're good".
