House explodes for 3rd time in 7 years
House explodes for 3rd time in 7 years
August 08, 2008 08:31 EDT

KNOXVILLE, Ohio (AP) -- Investigators say a house explosion near the eastern Ohio town of Knoxville was the third such blast on the property in seven years.

A man who owns the home was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital burn unit after the explosion Thursday night.

Emergency responders told WTOV-TV the blast was followed by 10 more explosions from what they believe was ammunition and fuel inside the home. A neighbor reported feeling the impact of the blast more than a mile away.

Officials say they responded to explosions at the same address on Jefferson County Road 56 in 2001 and 2003.

Investigators in the 2003 case said the family had reported a propane leak before that blast, which destroyed the home and left the same homeowner in critical condition.

I am moving back to Ohio next weekend - Note to self: Don't move near this guy.

10. Looks like the wife and daughter are flying out
which is good, 2 dogs and momma cat and her 5 babies in the front of a uhaul will be about all I can fit.

2300 miles in noah's ark probably won't be a lot of fun :)

9. One explosion may be considered
a tragedy, but two explosions looks like carelessness.

Actually, I've been trying to figure out how to get compensation from recent losses in my retirement fund. Did they get that guy's phone number?
