last week on MTP, Brokaw put the question to George Will -- GEORGE FREAKIN' WILL -- I'm paraphrasing, "Do you think the current polls might not be capturing a large percentage of first-time and younger voters that Obama has been successful in reaching through grass-roots organization and that this could be a landslide," to which Mr. Will replied, simply, "Yes."

the country is hungry for change and that makes my friday, even as miserable as things are

5. It's amazing that Obama even got the nomination.

On a fundamental likeability level there is a good reason to feel encouraged about Obama's prospects. I'll probably be traveling to NV again though to try to swing it left...
