3. CNN is constantly saying the US economy is issue #1, nothing else matters

or is to be cared about. Either they think Americans are so damn self serving or their ad revenue is down and they are self serving.

28. Wow... how did I not hear about that?
And why is "Communists Are Resilient in Face of Change" the big article on the front page of the NYT? That's not even news, for Chrissake.

29. "The economy is #1 and Iraq is #2"
They've said that a bunch.

I keep wondering whether I'm weird for noticing that our economy is where it is largely because of the Iraq invasion, and that it doesn't really make sense to separate the two like that.

19. Evidence that at least some education would be beneficial.
It's generally a good idea to have some clue about the terms you use (http://www.hinduwebsite.com/tantra.asp">Tantra), and if you're going to attack somebody's education or knowledge, you probably want to use spell check and learn proper grammar.

10. Depends on the African country.
There are some where the government is so corrupt and has so little legitimacy that a military coup wouldn't really make things worse.

30. Sadly, no. I cannot say I know off hand how many coups there were in Africa.
But, that doesn't mean this is any less important.

37. EVERY military coup should be studied in order to yield lessons on how to destroy a democracy.
In order to beat your opponents, you must learn how they operate and why. Only then can you get a better understanding of what he wants and how he does something to get what he wants.

If you develop a catalog of the different techniques on how to destabilize a government, you can learn tried tactics as well as synthesize existing tactics to create new ways to topple government. Given that your opponent also evolves tactics, you have a better chance of anticipating his next move and could plan appropriately.
