Iraq The Model
This is a blog I see pop up in conversations with neocons all the time. They seem to use this blog to support their radical idea of what the middle east should look like. Well I checked the site out and at first I was very interested. Sure, I knew that 99% of the people in that country didn't share his view but seeing pictures from Iraq was fairly interesting. I read on through the archives and then I noticed a " donate with pay pal" button on the right side of the page. I've used Pay Pal for over 8 years, I don't accept any payments online that aren't processed with pay pal, this is why this button looked strange on a site that is supposed to be ran by a guy from Iraq. Pay Pal does not accept members from a number of countries, including, you guessed it, Iraq. So how does someone from Iraq have a Pay Pal account? Is this account ran by someone else? Why would the author of that blog allow this and if this is indeed the case how does the money get back to him? I am not ready to say this is a fraud but I think its a very good question. I wrote the pay pal email they had on file to see what they say, I'll post a reply when/if I get it. The blog is at:
