Why CNN mocked the impeachment hearings.

I think it's something like this:

Those hearings are about the lies that ran us in to Iraq.

Apparently, the committee might have to do some digging in to how the media was used like a blushing prostitute to uncritically gin up the false case for war.

This includes the chumps over at CNN, I should think.

I guess they're disinterested in covering a story that is guaranteed to make the people covering it (and their management, editors, anchors and pundits) it look like Cheney's little eager poodles. Eager, dumb poodles.

It's sad, though, because they already look like that.

Too bad they don't realize that, unlike Cheney, they have an opportunity here to get their credibility back.

I guess they don't want it.

1. Last I heard, Time Warner owned CNN

and I seem to remember Time Warner making huge contributions to the Bushies. It's no surprise - they don't want credibility. They are interested in catapulting the propaganda.

3. Hoisted on their own petard

I guess after too much experience with these people, I've found that the thing that gets them the most is the same stuff they dish out, only crazier -- so, forgive me if I sound like a lunatic. Mocking CNN et al:

we must begin to show the sort of contempt they show "liberals" (by liberal, they mean anyone who is paying attention I guess). We should sneer on as many blogs/forums/etc as we can -- and get someone on MSNBC to do so as well -- mocking them. For example, "Oh, CNN and their Kubuki News. No, wouldn't be caught dead watching it, Keith. I make a habit of never watching drama queens. Ha ha. I like a straight shooter, Keith. I'm a man's man." They will hate to be referred to as drama queens...keep the insults slightly feminine as they will hate being identified with anything remote female, even if they are female. Remember who they hate, and see if you can make them appear to be like those people -- so that should make your task easy cuz they hate almost everyone. They'll work themselves up into a good foam over this, and we can at least get a laugh out of it. How can we do this while they are ON AIR, that's the question. Any ideas? Writing in to their shows can't HURT. It will embarrass them esp if you pretend to be one of them.

Oh, make sure they think you're between the age of 18-45 or they won't give a hoot. That's their precious market. Even better if you're a man between 18-35. That's their holy grail. To be scoffed at by their own demo that their sponsors want is at least fun, even though we know the corps don't care about the sponsors...The on-air talent and the producers do, though, it's their egos and their resumes. Take 'em down with their own medicine. Hoisted on their own petard.
