2. Edwards, definitely. My respect fror him grows every time I hear him speak
He would make a fine President, his wife is a stellar human being who would make a terrific 1st Lady, and he seems to have genuine feelings for us regular people, unlike some Imperial Monsters I could mention...

6. Wes Clark especially if Chuck Hagel (R) Runs
Though I like Edwards,Oboma, and Hillary, Wes Clark is the only with the qualifications and experience to clobber Chuck Hagel.

Young and vibrant, to take us in a new direction.
Intelligent and eloquent, to give voice to a new vision.
Compassionate and devoted, to provide a moral compass.

15. Edwards right now. One major reason is because he stood up
to Faux News and refused to take part in the debates in Nevada. I admire that. I'm still looking at others - I like Hillary, Richardson, Clark, damn....any one of the current crop is head and shoulders above anyone the Republics are thinking about.

19. Are you sure about Edwards? I thought I read he was for civil unions and not marriages
But if he is for marriage, I think I'll campaign for him if Gore doesn't run.

13. I Don't Understand
All these other "professional" polls which show Clinton leading.

Most of the activists I know don't care for her.

I have nothing against her, but :wtf: is with these polls?

14. Garsh!!! I'm way in the minority voting for Gravel.
I feel kind of,...embarassed. But, I heard him speak,...and he really moved me, even more than Kucinich or Obama or Clinton or Edwards, all of whom I really admire.

Supposedly she's the front runner, at least in the msm's eyes.

24. Still very early, but if no Gore: Richardson.
Edited on Thu Mar-08-07 08:27 PM by Mugsy
Probably the most experienced yet overlooked candidate is Bill Richardson.

Former Ambassador to the U.N., member of Clinton's cabinet and now a successful governor with budgetary experience. And he still has the "niche" vote (like Obama and Hillary) as the first Hispanic candidate (if that matters to you).

What I'd *really* like to see is a Gore/Richardson ticket. Two great experienced members left over from the Clinton Administration.

29. Voted Edwards. Obama is impressive. Clinton would be a very capable
administrator. I like Biden's brains on foreign policy. I like Dodd's facts-based debate style. I like Kucinich's from-the-heart community perspective. I like Clark's poise on the hot topics. I like Richardson's considerable diplomatic skills. And on and on.

Great team, deep bench, big win in 08.

Richardson's got the experience, and Obama has the charisma. And together, they could be the ultimate "diversity ticket"!

34. Whether Gore enters the race or not, I'm still hoping for Edwards!
He's the only one speaking out strongly about poverty issues, and from now on I will only vote my own best interests!

Go John! :applause:
