2. Notice The Crickets From The Parallel Universe
Imagine if they had arrested Abdul Mohammed Hussein Osama Bin Hiding as the source of this attack...hate radio would be calling to bomb something/anything Arabic tonight. Whoops, we find we have another terrorist in our midst? Crickets. What you say? This may go even further...and now there's a corpse?

Kudos to Larisa and Glen Greenwald for getting on this thing and for KO not hesitating to ask the questions that need to be answered.

Cheers...

terrorist but want it to be a public outcry that changes the definition, not the government, because we'd resist the change. Look at this week's sensational crime stories:

In addition to the guy (who was about to be arrested, they say, for allegedly being) behind the Anthrax attack not being a terrorist, the guy on the Greyhound Bus wasn't a terrorist, and the man who randomly shot swimmers in Wisconsin wasn't a terrorist, and the kid who was found in Washington DC with an entire arsenal and an alleged list of targets wasn't a terrorist, and the guy who shot up the Unitarian Church wasn't a terrorist.

Criminy that's almost one act of terror per day since Sunday. What day did we have off?

And not a single kidnapped woman in the bunch. In this new pattern suspects were apprehended quickly, and all but the scientist survived their ordeals, so that we can be reminded of them again and again as court dates hit (except the anthrax guy, but who wants a scientist to go on TV denying charges and possibly fingering.... ) and each criminal left witnesses to be terrorized and to spread their traumatic fear to us.

Doesn't this grand injection of fear soften you up to a stronger and more brutal police presence during the political conventions and again at the election this fall? If you're not ready yet, maybe you need another week of mayhem.

After all we need to learn that we need Big Brother (and pal Blackwater) to keep us safe from home-grown terror. The problem is that they're worse for us than the random criminals.
