Win two of the three biggest toss up states and McCain can have the rest of the toss ups won't matter. And if you count Michigan as leaning Democratic then no reason to leave Ohio.

2. If the campaign hinges on a couple crucial swing states
it just makes it all the easier for the other side to steal it.

Campaign EVERYWHERE. Make them fight for every fucking vote. We have the resources, so why stint on them?

3. McCain's doing better here than I'd thought.
Last poll only had them a couple of points apart, still within the Keith number. You'd think Michigan would know better, but many here still think he's the maverick they voted for in 2000.

4. 50 state strategy means 50 states. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts

5. If you get all 50 states
in our corner, there will be no more swing states.

I say try and get as many votes as you can from every state. Let the pukes work their asses off to win a state.

6. Don't forget TX

Obama may not be able to win without the Lone Star State.

And we have a bunch of dedicated Democrats who are ready to turn Texas blue in November.

7. I'm in Texas, I do not think there is much chance of him winning here, and do not want to see time

and money wasted here.

It would be nice, but I just don't see it happening.

8. No Texas, no White House
Texas is crucial. McCain is still soft here. I say Obama should deploy a little of that "audacity of hope" right here in George W. Bush's backyard.

Texas has the second largest amount of electoral votes - as of 2004, they had 34 votes in the Electoral College, winner take all. Only California, with 55 votes, commands more of a presence in the College than Texas does.

Obama should go for it.
