And while were at it lets add in the Alaskan wildlife reserves and oil shale.

3. There is no ban on millions of acres of offshore leaseholds

However, there is a multi year waiting period for drilling equipment which has been booked solid for some time.

Any lifting of the ban needs to specify that leases must be explored in the order they were granted.
