Was there a "bump" in Senator Obama's numbers after the overseas visit??

Yesterday on Talk of the Nation on NPR the host, some woman filling in said there was no bump...... :shrug: was there one or not??? :patriot:

1. that would have to be reported by the media....we'll never know

2. My guess it is more a bump in confidence in foriegn policy

that will happen. The independents are not going to show their hands for a few more weeks. The overseas trip just took one of their concerns off the table. When it will show up is at the ballot box in November :)

Most the major polls are compiled for the Sunday talk shows...so many times nearly a week will pass before people start registering their opinions.

Now which poll will we get? Registered voters? Likely voters? Voters who like carrots? TPM went into a great analysis of the multiple Gallup polls, including the one that showed Gramps ahead, and showed how flawed both the poling and the tabulating was.
