I would rather see the Republican running against Nancy Pelosi win
than for her to retain her her seat .... either she is being blackmailed
or she is just a disgrace to her office.

Hey Nancy, (Steny too)

One more time .... bush and company were using the NSA to spy on us
and the DoJ as their political muscle w/ the US Attorneys as their hit men.

1. What's the hurry?
Rove will die of old age in two or three or four decades. Then we can all chat happily about his willful destruction of American ideals without causing anyone to be embarrassed.

7. i think the idea is to wait until after the repub convention
put a downer on any post convention bump for the repubs by making the vote on rove the headline right after labor day.

8. The deal with that is they have to conduct the investigations
now all the way through the election and be ready to file charges after * has left office. No Pardons that way.

3. what's amazing is that the vote today was straight down the party line
not one republican was concerned that a public servant told congress to stick their subpoena up their asses. not one.

5. As much as I would love to see Fat Karl in prison
I know that any attempt to put him there before Stupid leaves office will result in a pardon. Even though an executive pardon for contempt of Congress seems like a shaky thing to propose, you know the 5 goons on the USSC will uphold it----just this once.

6. better timing for election imo
august is the worst month -- no one is paying attention.

Hitting Rove right after the repub convention would be very good timing imo
