Sorry I can't seem to be able to copy the map, but when you go to the link, the image is mind-boggeling...at least it was to me!

2. Can you explain why the "crash" is "inevitable?"
Feel free to use actual facts in your answer.

Waiting patiently.

If you can, you have a clue. That is how republiconomics has set up the inevitable collapse, that and republicon corruption, and massive profligate spending of billions and billions on a needless Crusade started with a pack of deliberate republicon lies.

The republicon mantra for the last 8 years:

Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.

Borrow and spend republicons.
Borrow and spend republicons.

19. I thought so
...lots of emotion, and little else.

The economy is limping right now, but the fundamentals that prevent things like currency collapses and hyperinflations are simply not there. The worst thing I can think to say about the economy right now is that there is little to prevent more transfers of wealth from the poorest to the richest. I will wait until the economy actually contracts in response to supply shocks before I bother to worry.

It would help your credibility to avoid childish portmanteaus like "republicon," but then again you might just be a child.

and grokking a bit of irony and hyperbole, with a dash of non-kool-aid infested reality.

26. I take my job as a DU jester seriesly.
It's an ancient tradition, with valid present-day application against an overwhelmingly powerful corrupt cabal of chickehawk, totalitarian republicon homelanders who have run America's economy, moral standing & natural environment into the crapper, in cahoots with a degraded corporate media.

WARNING: "Humor-impaired entities may exist."

21. Don't forget wealth concentration at the very top
with debt substituted for wages for the bottom 90%. That's the time bomb that will eventually explode and kill the consumer economy as people find they can no longer add more debt without having the monthly payment eat into subsistence items like food, transportation to work and shelter.

I'm already seeing diminishing expectations here as poor people abandon WalMart for Dollar General and Big Lots.

If you want to know where an economic collapse is going to come from, I suggest you follow the debt.

6. You know, this is a national security issue.
Before you snort too loud, hear me out.

So you've got this huge conglomerate . . . sells everything from gas to grenades. And they're all the same. Same lead-painted toys sold coast-to-coast. Same bad Chinese chicken sold in every store. So what happens if they distribute something that ends up making the entire country sick? In the old days, it would have been a localized outbreak - a nationwide uniform distribution center just didn't exist. But it does now. So what happens when some new strain of antibiotic-resistant salmonella infects WalMart chicken, distributed simultaneously in 4000 outlets? Or some toxic chemical is found laced in the paper wrapper of Chinese-imported candy?

This isn't good. I'll never shopt there.

8. It looks like the map of the US has become seriously infected.
It's a virus or bacterial infection of Wal-Mart stores. It's so sad that one huge monolithic corporations own such a vast part of the US. No wonder those damn stores are so horrible to shop in. The virus is busy building more, more and not working at maintaining quality with what it has.

first beginning words are "Walmart", "French Fries" (everytime we go past a fastfood restaurant), and "I want that" during commercial breaks in between spongbob. I hate that they have his mind already.

AND I have ventured into the Walmart every so often.. I'm on a budget... AND his mother is a single mother... Happy Meals and Walmart are a cheap way to supplement and shakey existence. Now, he's learning what it means to buy any toy... he must "earn" his $1.00 during the week... when he finally has enough money to buy that "I want it toy".. we let him go and buy it. He needs to appreciate that its not easy to get all these toys, even at cheap prices they are... His t.v. time is limited... AND I'm trying to raise him against all the glitz of American marketing and trying to do it all on a budget and with a Dad who feels guilty about leaving him 1/2 the week with a woman he can't even stand.. Its not easy. AND it sucks. Its not easy to raise a child these days...

18. Obviously I'm in the minority! I NEVER even enter a WM! Not because
I don't recognize that on "same as" things like name brand canned goods they are a few cents cheaper, but because I personally don't want to give even ONE PENNY profit to people who treat their employees as bad as they do!

24. I really like those maps where the scale is skewed
they do it with airplane when they show them flying around. Each one is 100 miles long. Those are some big stores.

Bye the bye I try to never shop there either, but in some cases they bring goods to rural areas that did not have them before the store openned.
