I have a suggestion for Captain Combover ..... that baseball cap with "Navy" on it .......?
Lose it, Johnny. It does you no good at all. It makes you look like these two guys. I'm sure they're two really great guys ...... but they look old, Johnny.

And so do you.

1. My father was Navy.
Pacific, WWII, on a tin can. He wouldn't have worn one of those hats if you held a gun to his head.

But then, he was in a lot of combat. There tends to be an inverse relationship between "Warrior Strutting" and the amount of combat one has really seen.

6. My Dad was Navy in the Pacific, WWII
Is a "tin can" a sub? Dad was on one, too. Got the Navy and Marine Corps Medal and we're real proud of him for what he did.

He has a cap similar to that that he got at one of the reunions he used to go to when he could travel. But he never wears it.

7. A "tin can"
is a destroyer. That's a medium-sized warship, used primarily to escort bigger ships, like aircraft carriers, and protect them from enemy submarines or air attacks.
