dick cheney and the bush crime vampire family live off of the blood of innocents, when large numbers of people die in war, they make a LOT of money. It's all perfectly legal for them to make huge profits off the live's and deaths of all those soldiers and Iraqis, they made it legal.

Now, what if we the people wanted OUR share? Do we get anything out of this? Or is it just our presidents and senators who are legally allowed to profit off the deaths of thousands of soldiers?

If the bush's and cheneys offered us some of that money that they got from the deaths of thousands of people right in front of our eyes, would you take it? What if they offered you half a million in cash, would it make you feel less terrible about all those dead soldiers and Iraqis?

Is it basically wrong to make a monstrous profit from a monstrous, unnecessary war?

Is it or not?

7. A lot of people are invested directly
or indirectly in defense. In a way every shareholder in these companies is getting a cut.

9. well,
If the bush's and cheneys offered us some of that money that they got from the deaths of thousands of people right in front of our eyes, would you take it? Yes

What if they offered you half a million in cash, would it make you feel less terrible about all those dead soldiers and Iraqis? No

Is it basically wrong to make a monstrous profit from a monstrous, unnecessary war? That depends on the role you have.

Is it or not? What?

15. It wouldn't matter
As soon as they gave everyone their half million, they would raise the price of everything so that the money would be worthless. Ever hear of hyper-inflation?

10. If one did, I would assume they could use said funds to do something very bad to them.
Of course, I in no way advocate or endorse this idea...

12. some of these defense contractors aren't just defense contractors...
United Technologies, of which many people around me are employed by, (both union manufacturers and management people) owns both sikorsky (which makes blackhawk helicopter) and pratt and whitney (which owns rocketdyne and make engines for f-22 and f-35's) but also own carrier (air conditioning and heating company), Otis (elevator company), and a fire and security division. Many times its not as simple as not supporting a defense contractor. GE and GM do not equal blackwater

14. There is a flip side
If I didn't take the money, what would it be used for instead? You can create a moral dilemma out of almost anything.

But that aside, much of it IS OUR MONEY. Tax money and tax money to be paid in the future, being funneled into the coffers of war profiteers. If they offered it back, I wouldn't be guilted for taking it.

16. of course i would. we all already pay for this in taxes and the like anyway...
you should always take as much as you can whenever you can from evil -- and then try to use it for good. otherwise it will just go towards more evil. ideally you stop evil from stealing blood money in the first place. but if you fail in that, at least be a spigot in their reservoir of resources. less resources means less evil. using its resources against them means even less evil than that.

this is a really easy question with only one correct answer. has no one else read basic passages from Sun Tzu's "Art of War"? "live off the gleanings of plunder from your enemy's fields"? outside of self-righteous personal disgust, (which is self-serving in the end ad thus an act of escapism and thus passive evil,) there is no good moral reason to say no.
