Much more informative. Even though some of them may be right wingnutters, I really can't tell when they are giving traffic and weather reports.

5. I'm reminded of a (made-for-TV?) movie, where a researcher had the theory

that a 6 foot blonde woman would be able to win in track meets, esp. the Olympics. (the gist was that she was taking insulin because the shots she took as a child to get her to 6 ft. caused her to need insulin).

Anyway, there was an awkward moment at a press conference where the reporter covering her "rise" asked a not-normal sports question, and a puzzled look went on her face, and she fumbled. When it went back to the "normal" questions, she was eager and able to answer them.

As it was revealed shortly to the reporter, she had been "conditioned" in practice "press conferences" - when she gave the good answers to the usual questions, she got a nice jolt from a vibrator. Pavlovian. Therefore, she literally got a buzz from the right answers.

This sounds like the press coverage of Bush - Pavlovian, and Mika B. giving an orgasmic response to his image ...
