Watching the Full Moon Rise
Edited on Thu Jul-17-08 11:32 PM by Ripley
It always makes me smile. Tonight was no exception.

Does anyone think the filthy rich assholes who RULE this country ever notice anything like that?

Do they have a clue what the price of gas is? Bread? Milk? Electricity?

Do those poor put-upon legislators ever fucking have to sleep in a house with no A/C?

This is what it all comes down to. The people who supposedly represent us are not like us. They live in a bubble of wealth.

Somehow we need to get America back "For the People" and away from the Money/Power Vampires who eat Corporate Money for breakfast.

There is a town in north ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.

Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.

5. I don't care what they have as long as they don't insist on calling the tune for everyone else.
We are slaves to our political-economic system.

I want Freedom and I want Real Value in exchange for the Real Value of my Labor and Talents.

7.  Full moon equals WEREWOLVES.
And if you don't believe it, this last full moon a toddler went missing in a neighborhood near me.

Whether or not they grow fur all over their body, SOMETHING about a full moon makes people go insane. Call it romantic, call it "the goddess" as a Wiccan friend does, all I know is that it brings werewolves.
