1. Funny that the highest grade I can choose is a C- ... ok, maybe not so funny.
Since all those other (higher graded) gas stations don't exist where I live in Oregon. Oh well.

2. I go to a B-
I usually go to Valero. I still have a Mobil card for emergencies (because they are everywhere) but I should probably just carry cash so I'm not even tempted.

I need to look into finding an ARCO near me though. Maybe there is one somewhere not far off my path home from work.

3. Snap! OK .. we DO have ARCO here .,.. thanks for the reply.
somehow I missed it on first read.

I'll need to ask my current gas source who provides their gas. I generally get my gas at a locally-owned
worker-owned cab company who sells gas to public in my hood, generally for about 4-5 cents below the average
going rate, which is great because I live near the aforementioned cab gas outlet downtown Portland (where
gas is generally the most expensive).

4. Thanks!

Of course I knew to avoid Exxon/Mobil like the plague, but I wasn't aware of some of these other low ratings, and I can now act accordingly. I wonder what brings Costco down so far? Thanks again.

6. Isn't Citgo the only one
that wasn't part of the oil deal in Iraq? You know, the one the Iraqi oil union went on strike to protest? I saw a video about it here listing all the companies it would give power to and I think it was all the major ones but Citgo.

10. Citgo is also owned by Venezuala and the gas DOES NOT come from the Middle East.

8. thanks for posting
i have a mobil right on the corner, but i have refused to go there for a while. but the info on the smaller guys is very welcome. there are a couple of citgos, a valero, and a couple of marathons near me. i have been trying to stick with the citgo, but happy to hear about marathon. it is the closest, and the cheapest.
cool.
