Getting fit.... one of those things that helps to deal with stress
and health

Well when I started doing this exercise thing I could barely do seven minutes on the Gazelle (and was thirty pounds heavier)

Today I did not have time to go walk... we had company... so I just stepped off the gazelle and did twenty four minutes on it

There are days I bike, but the gazelle is still used every week... and I suspect more in the winter

And yes, if you need to loose weight it can be done.

It is easy, as long as you decide that you need to do it.

Just if you get a home piece of exercise equipment, make sure it does not end up as a dirty clothes rack.

1. I look at exercise like brushing my teeth
I do it every day (no wondering IF) and because I tend to overeat I exercise for an hour

2. I try to get at least 6000 steps a day
and of course I do it as well

As to overeating, I have slowly learned how to listen to my body when I am hungry or not

3. I am currently
on my second round of P90X. The hardest workout I have ever had anything to do with. I am also going through some MMA training on thursday nights. . I am fitter now than I was during my college football days and my army days. At 47, that is saying something.

4. GOOD FOR YOU
I looked at that program... but went, with the diabetes I have to take it easy

That said... I am getting close to as fit as I was when I worked as a medic and trained my people Field Training and physical training officer among many other hats I wore

Then again I don't have to carry a roll of fire hose, or a heavy trauma kit

:-)

7. exercise is about the best thing you can do for your health
both physically and mentally. Every little bit of exercise helps.

Once you really get exercising, it becomes addictive, and easier to keep going than to miss a workout session.
