Can an appeal last until 1-2009? Will Libby have to wait in club-jail?

I am sure that Bush will pardon libby. But when? Will the lame duck do it early, thus solidifying his lame-duckiness? Or will Bush make Libby wait it out to the last minute?

so I'm sure they'll play his interiew again.

He said Libby's lawyers will ask for postponements as often as they can, and the June date will probably move to Oct. if they can get a few more, it's not unreasonable to see the sentencing more to Sept/Octof 08. Shrub would easily be able to give him a lame duck pardon sometime after Nov 08 elections.

I'm hoping the judge is pi**ed enough at Libby's atty for promising to put Libby on the stand and they backing off, that he will grant maybe ONE postponement and end the playing around!

I'm not realsure it would be any help though. It would be Shrub giving the pardon, NOT the Pub candidate, and there's nothing either side can do about Presidential pardons...except bitch!

I'm not sure anyone would even bring it up because I don't see it helping anyone at all.
