Wall E is a must see film
I won't spoil this film by going into detail about plot but it is a devastating commentary on both our political and economic situation. Fred Willard is fantastic as Buy Large's CEO. When you do go, stay for the credits both due to the wonderful song, and for the exposition of the story. This is a deep film and needs some support.

Love the 3 morals of the story

understands why he has homework now .

As an old fart (57) I remember drive-ins quite well. I didn't think there were any left. Not around here anyway.

We fought wallmart when they bought the property and threatened
to close it . They ended up selling it to a company the is contracted
to keep it a drive-in and swap meet .

We go practically every weekend, last night we saw Wall E and
the Hulk for the price of a matinee . The other side had
get smart and kung fu panda .

Here's the fandango link look for solano drive in :)

They are showing Wall-E with Caspian in a double feature and Incredible Hulk with Wanted in another double feature.

It's a great place to see double features

33. Anyone in the Baltimore area can enjoy the Bengie's drive-in.
Apparently it has one of the largest screens in the country. And it's hard to beat 3 movies for the price of one and being able to relax in your car. Everyone needs to go to a drive-in before they die, it's really a fun experience.

34. Very good date movie. It's definitely a love story too.
The two leads develop quite the romance, in spite of their limited vocabularies (the bulk of the dialog consists of them saying the other's name). Very good flick.

22. One problem with it though
If man left the earth, there'd be no problem finding vegetation. The Earth would shake us off like a bad cold. Look at the area around Chernobyl. Man destroyed it, man left, and 20 years later it is absolutely teaming with wildlife.

I had to leave the theater with my children, they were screaming so much.

Well, I just fired off an angry letter to Dreamworks. They'll be hearing from my lawyer and psychiatrist.

It was also the best movie of the summer (so far).

Now, if you really want to avoid scary, don't take them to Snow White or Bambi.

I saw the movie, and your post makes so little sense that I suspect that you may be being sarcastic. I saw it in a packed theater and there were no upset kids. Maybe you can tell us why you found it "sexist and terrifying"?

But then it's Pixar - wouldn't expect anything less.

Did anyone else notice the red and blue thing with the clothes the humans were wearing? I was wondering if that was symbolizing the red pill/blue pill idea from The Matrix - like when the two humans slid off their personal hovercraft and started seeing the world outside of their screen their outfits changed from blue to red - after everyone switches to blue earlier when told to.

52. Be warned....this is not Toy Story..it is disturbing.
I have seen most important animated films. None compare with this.
.. It isn't cute, happy or well defined. It is dissonant as one compares great modern music to Mozart. In the post that started this thread the film is described as "devastating." You would need to see it twice to truly understand it, yet many would not sit through this film twice, or perhaps once.
.. It is plainly not a kids film.(I do believe that it is marketed totally wrong, and Pixar will pay a price for that) Yet, for all that has been said, it is probably a great film. And it will need support of the progressive community because of the price that it will pay for being honest in a new and original way. See it. When you walk out, you will know what I am talking about..
