People Too Gullible ?

Are Americans becoming to gullible? Recently, there was a video on the internet of a supposed ball girl making an amazing catch at a minor league baseball game. It seems a number of people actually believed the video was real. When I looked at the video at first it seemed surprising, but when I saw the replay something made me think the video might be fake. I think it was the way the girl ran up the wall. I think I somehow felt something about that did not seem real. I scrolled down the youtube page to see what other people were saying and saw some of the posts saying it was actually a commerical. I think the commerical was done for Gatorade.

At least one member of the Good Morning America team actually believed the film was real. In additon, it seems a college actually tried to recurit the girl. So, are Americans becoming too gullible?
