I think this Juror speaking unendingly is dangerous. His words
may come back to haunt the verdict. He is giving so much stuff that can be twisted by the twisting experts. This is really scary. There is fodder here for lies of interpretation.

The verdict has been passed down. I don't think it can be changed
except during an appeal.

12. The networks have cut away from him now

He's the juror who was a reporter. He said he felt it fair that he speak to the press. He answered a bunch of questions. Said that the jurors made no deals on the counts but went through each one their merits. There was some sympathy for Libby on the part of the jurors. They even wondered where Rove was. Amazing stuff.

I imagine that Tweety will work like heck to get an interview.

4. This is why jurors should shut their traps after the case is over
But there is no law requiring them to keep silent after the trial.

And some people find TV cameras very enticing.

5. Nope.
His words can not "come back to haunt the verdict." That isn't possible. It is not even a remote possibility. Libby was convicted in court, not in a press conference.

19. The news channels cut him off just recently, just as he was clarifying
how, in an earlier comment, the jurors felt that Libby may have seemed like a "fall guy..."

He spoke for a long time -- rambling at points, answering questions about how methodical the jury was about piecing the facts together (using 34 huge post-it notes), stated that the jury had several "managerial types" who took control of trying to break down the case into the smallest parts in order to examine it, discussed deliberating tactics -- how jurors reasoned out the testimony, he even discussed how they were overall sympathetic to Libby and Judy Miller, etc. Spoke on a wide range of topics related to the jury's decision process, why on the count of giving false testimony (Cooper issue) the jury did not render a guilty plea, etc.

Mentioned Grossman, Cheney, and Bush -- made a little joke that at one point when Wells was commenting about conspiracy originating from the WH that he thought for a moment they may hear from Bush -- or something to that effect. Commented that several jurors said "This sucks..." in reference to the fact that they were deliberating about Libby when, in reality, it was apparent that there were others who Libby may have been covering for or being made the fall guy for (not his words -- my interpretation) and he even mentioned Rove's name at that point.

So much info -- maybe we can get a transcript up later. Very interesting insight into this case -- seems he was heartfelt in his attempt to explain the jury process -- that thye took their time to deliberate with care and consideration of the facts in a complicated case.

Hope this helps-- I feel like I'm rambling, so I'll close now.

and personal things about what the jurors said to each other. It went on and on and I had to get ready to leave. I have to listen again myself, if it's carried.

He said that they mostly felt sympathy for Libby.
He said that they really struggled with the loss of memories and how difficult it was to keep it straight.

I won't post again when I can't type in the story. I don't like it when I am not plugged in and people are assuming I am.

My big thing was the volume. It was unbelievable and I still think it's fodder for something because of the delusional propagandists whose job it is to fool their lemmings and headline only readers and listeners.

My apologies - I did post about Toensing and did provide data on what she said.
