Dangerous international terrorist Boy George denied US entry; forced to cancel tour
LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Culture Club frontman Boy George has been forced to cancel his North American summer tour after U.S. authorities refused to issue him a visa, citing looming legal issues overseas.

George's 24-date North American trek was scheduled to begin July 11 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, and wrap August 23 at the House of Blues in Dallas.

"At the moment, Boy George cannot come to the United States of America because he has been refused permission to enter by the USA Administration," read a statement from the artist's management. "This is not in respect of anything he has done in the past but because he is facing a trial in November in London for something that happened in April last year."

George was arrested last year after a 28-year-old male escort from Norway accused the singer/DJ of false imprisonment and assault. George later denied the allegations and was released on bail.

1. This is FUCKING stoopid! First Martha Stewart, now Boy George?
Both of them are oh so scary. :eyes: I am beyond sick at their choices or reasoning, or any freaking thing they could say to convince me there's a reason for this.

3. "This is not in respect of anything he has done in the past"
So the Administration is forcing him to cancel this tour, at who knows what loss of income, because he stands accused and not convicted of something.

Nothing shocks me anymore.

4. So there's no reasoning why they're doing this, only because they can.?
What's the point? What are their motives, or his? It's so dumb, but it makes me furious :nuke: because it's so dumb!

5. Because they "can" keep out those whom they consider undesirable.
It's maddening.

2. Well if its any conciliation
his last tour here sucked big time. $85 for 45 minutes of him complaining how bad the audience was while he played his god awful reggae takes of his old songs. I miss the old George. Sigh.

(I did get to see George Michael however last week and highly recommend his concert :) )

10. After all, another terror attack "could help" John McCain.
Look how dangerous he looks!
