A black family moved in, the only black family, my senior year of high school. There was, ahem, tension. I hear there was also difficulty when he went to the prom, I could be wrong.

I've seen that crap and have been enjoying at least that part of Los Angeles- which is a true melting pot, at least compared to Detroit.

I'm only hoping for increasingly rapid positive change. I can wish, can't I? :)
