1. Yes he is and the evidence is the crap he said about oil spills and the crap he said about the
amount of oil. He also seem to side step the cost. Drilling off shore is not and will never make gas cheaper. It costs more for oil companies to drill there. Simple as that.

4. They are running out of time....
imo: Big Oil does not believe that it can get access to those un-permitted offshore areas nor to un-permitted ANWR under an Obama Administration. They seek to undermine his campaign, undermine the Dem's AND gain that which they don't have. As you likely are well aware, Big Oil has PLENTY of areas that they are permitted to drill in and scads of resources to mine out of those permitted areas...yet they sit on them, (helping to drive prices up) and scream for those areas yet un-permitted to be handed over to them. They further lay blame at the feet of the Dem's and Senator Obama for not doing 'what is right' by the citizens when those Dem's fight against releasing our 'critically-needed' resources because of outmoded environmental concerns.

IF we COULD drill our way out of this, WHY aren't the Big Oil corporations drilling on those lands that they already have permits to mine? Why do they sit on those resources?

Is it me or do you think that the high gas prices are being used, (perhaps even created), in order to hold We The People hostage. The premise being: "Give us what we want lest you suffer even higher prices at the pump!" I am unconvinced though, that caving in to these greed mongers will lower ANYTHING at the pump in spite of what their bought and paid for shills are telling us.
