No inflation whatsoever, whatever...
Edited on Mon Jun-23-08 03:09 PM by nadinbrzezinski
So I went to get the groceries today... and yep things have jumped over the last two weeks... by about 20%

Then I filled my tank... thankfully I have a hybrid... and it was 4.48 at base, it was 4.28 two weeks ago, sorry

But there is no inflation whatsoever.

Nope, no siree, no way, no how!

:sarcasm:

By the way anybody in the market for a Learjet? After all THAT is i the stats, but not my groceries or gas

1. Our local paper reported a recent 1-cent-per-gallon decrease in gas prices.
I. Shit. You. Not. They had an unbelievably bad headline for the story along the lines of "Gas Prices Down! No Way! Way!" (again...I. Shit. You. Not.). When prices were 15-20 cents higher a few days later, there was no follow-up story and, alas, no pithy headlines written by someone trapped in 1991.

2. add about two bucks for everything up here and you got it right.
I cannot believe how expensive food is. In Barrow, alaska, milk is about $9 a gallon, probably more now.

5. Greenspan and Clinton colluded to define "technological innovation" as deflation.
Edited on Tue Jun-24-08 12:52 AM by Leopolds Ghost
So inflation in the price of all commodities
was "offset entirely" over the past decade by
increases in COMPUTING POWER per unit price.

You can't eat, but you can buy 10,000% as much
computerized "goods" (processor speed) as you could in 1992!

Not a joke.

Housing also was defined as NOT INFLATION because it was a
capital gain.

Never mind it was a Ponzi scheme driven by an inflationary
process and designed to exploit and evict the high housing
demand among poor non-homeowners.

6. I wonder, does my Intel Core II duo work better with Marinara or
Alfredo?

Hey, the zink value should be way over the top

:-)

And yes, I believe it

By the way, the IPOD, should I use Red or White Whine

I knew they stopped counting food since it was way too ahem, "unstable" but I had not heard that one yet

Thanks, yep Bill the best Conservative president of my lifetime (And to DLC byte me!)
