24. And republicans think THEIR congressmen are the spineless ones.
Meanwhile, Democrats roll over and play dead for Bush every time. EVERY... TIME!!!

5. The only job Pelosi and Reid are good at is being a door mat.
They are sure laying down to let Bush walk all over them. Oh, they're REAL GOOD at that!

They might also be good for BJ's, but that's about it. Not sure if Bush/Cheney even have any use for a BJ...

6. This is not really an accurate question for a Poll though.
Edited on Mon Jun-23-08 02:08 PM by TheWatcher
In order for us to answer this Poll, they would have to actually be doing their job to begin with.

It's kind of hard to judge the performance of representative government when you no longer have it.

12. There's no category for volcanically, amazingly, staggeringly, contemptuously disapprove.
So, I'll just have to settle for little ol' disapprove, even though it is a mere shadow of the LEVEL of disapproval I feel.

13. When the Democratic Party
won the Majority in both houses in 2006, to be fair I did not set a higher standard for them than I had for a Republican Majority. As I expected, they failed to meet the low standard. Did not come even close. It is because of this sparkling record of unmatched achievement that I tremble at the even the thought of a National Healthcare Plan or Nationalizing the Oil Industry. Not that a National Healthcare Plan or Nationalizing Oil is a bad idea. It is really a good concept, but never, not under any circumstances with this inept bunch of losers. As I have posted before, a Majority who cannot even Impeach a President with a horrid 26% approval rating does not need to be in charge of anything.

16. The only legislation
our Democratic Majority has passed has been what Bush demanded they pass. With this crew, absolutely nothing would have been bettter than what they have done so far. They brow beat Mark Macquire, oooooooh, I am so impressed! All of America is all the better for it! That is just what I donated money to and voted for Democrats for. So they could brush aside the war, let gas prices spin out of control, let the the housing debacle continue unabated so they could wag their finger in the face of a Baseball Hall of Famer and scold him! Yes! Woo Hoo! I should have used the money I donated to the Democratic Party for lap dances. It would have affected my situation just as much but it would have been more fun. What a waste of money that was!

22. This is a trick question, right?
I called both my Senators this morning (they're both Dems) and asked...no... I pleaded with them to vote NO on the Immunity for telecommunications bill...or at least get it back into committee.

Told them the House had let us down, and they were our last hope and line of defense.

Oh...and disapprove.

23. The absence of legislation ending war profiteering is a sign of their total failure.
Forget about impeachment for a minute.

Forget about ending the war.

Or anything remotely ambitious.

Just focus on a basic issue on which 99.999% of the population agrees: there needs to be basic financial accountability in spending on the war. A couple of weeks ago the BBC reported that $20 billion had been squandered in Iraq due to corruption and waste. Can anybody find me an example of a public figure who thinks this is a good thing? Isn't it pretty much a no-brainer that even the most rabid pro-war right-wingers would think it's disgusting that some elitist fucks are cheating hard-working taxpayers out of their money by making false pretenses of supporting the troops, when all they're doing is skimming cash off the top?

But yet Pelosi and Reid somehow can't manage to muster a consensus to oppose the three dozen or so folks in America who support government waste? That's totally fucking inexcusable.
