Sign the Petition- Remove Michael Reagan as Board of Director of a High School
Edited on Mon Jun-23-08 01:04 PM by Ichingcarpenter
Sign the petition to get him removed.

To: Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks, California

Talk Show host Michael Reagan recently advocated the murder of anti-war activist Mark Dice on his syndicated radio show. Reagan said,

"take 'em out, and shoot 'em. Really. Just find the people who are sending those letters- to demoralize our troops- they are traitors to this country-and shoot them. You have a problem with that? Deal with it. But anybody who would do that doesn't deserve to live. You call them traitors-that's what they are- and you shoot 'em dead. I'll pay for the bullet."
"How about you take Mark Dice out,and put him in the middle of the firing range? Tie him to a post, don't blindfold him, and let it rip and have some fun with Mark Dice."

Many Americans are dissatisfied with the government's investigation into 9/11 and do not approve of the undeclared premptive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

People of all faiths, in California and across the world, are working towards peace and we will not tolerate being threatened for our beliefs.

We stand behind Mark Dice and insist on respect for all human life. Michael Reagan regularly advocates outrageous racial and religous hatred as well as calls for murderous threats and genocide. For him to hold such a position of authority, prestige and influence over 1200 Catholic school students and their education is completely unacceptable. I and others of faith join together in this call for the immediate removal of Michael Reagan from the Board of Directors of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Sherman Oaks CA.

This Thursday, June 26th we will be presenting this petition to the school's president Br. William Nick CSC, Principal Stephanie Connnely, the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Cardinal Roger Mahony, as well as founders of the school, The Holy Cross Institute, whose home is at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

1. The Pope issued a statement against the Iraq war, so
shouldn't Reagan be denied communion like the pro-choice Catholics?
