Rush Limbaugh Attacks Black Katrina victims and praises Whites as the Floods hit.
this pill popping lard ass is at it again.

Limbaugh: I want to know. I look at Iowa, I look at Illinois—I want to see the murders. I want to see the looting. I want to see all the stuff that happened in New Orleans. I see devastation in Iowa and Illinois that dwarfs what happened in New Orleans. I see people working together. I see people trying to save their property…I don’t see a bunch of people running around waving guns at helicopters, I don’t see a bunch of people running shooting cops. I don’t see a bunch of people raping people on the street. I don’t see a bunch of people doing everything they can…whining and moaning—where’s FEMA, where’s BUSH. I see the heartland of America. When I look at Iowa and when I look at Illinois, I see the backbone of America

1. Not surprising
They've been pushing this narrative since Katrina - subtly (well not that subtly) playing on his listeners racism.

3. Hey Limpballs--when the flooded people of Iowa and Illinois try to leave
and get turned back at the city limits by gun-toting sheriffs who refuse to let them out...then we'll talk. The difference between Iowa/Illinois and New Orleans? In NO, there are only a couple of ways out. In Iowa and Illinois, there are a thousand ways to drive or walk away from the river. The river doesn't surround Iowa and Illinois. The people there aren't trapped with their only escape routes cut off all around.

Go fuck yourself.

:grr:

4. What would that asshole know about 'backbone'?

That lying chickenhawk SOB had a chance to prove his backbone but whined about
pimples on his ass so he could get a draft deferment.

5. That is your typical conservative blowhard.
Some guy commented those exact words in the Houston Chronicle on an article about the Iowa floods. For anyone to compare those two tragic cicumstances is a jackass.

6. These are total lies about New Orleans.
This is obviously part of the Republican plan to scare people into voting for McCain. Black people = murdering cop-shooting rapists. White people = working together.

It's a lie and if we had real journalists in this country running the newspapers and TV news it wouldn't be tolerated.

7. wow that pretty ugly
So now we judge how "American" you are by how pleasant you appear to a drug addict watching at home on TV getting entertained by your life being destroyed during a natural disaster?

9. Gretna, Louisiana
http://gretnasucks.com/

During the aftermath of hurricane Katrina people were told to evacuate New Orleans by crossing the bridge that lead from New Orleans to Gretna. The bridge spans the Mississippi river linking New Orleans to the west bank city of Gretna. If you were black or in the company of blacks you were blocked from evacuating New Orleans by the Gretna police.

Gretna Police Chief Arthur S. Lawson, Jr. ordered his officers to kill any black people that tried to cross the bridge that lead into Gretna. His officers shot at blacks or people in the company of blacks that tried to cross the bridge.

A group of around 20, mostly blacks who were fired at when they tried to cross the bridge, camped out at the top of the bridge. Their camp was raided at dusk by Gretna police who held them at gun point, shouted racial slurs and robbed them of their food and water. They hate black people so much that they wanted to add to their suffering pilled on them by hurricane Katrina by taking away their life sustaining food and water. Many died as a result.

and no one went to jail for this. Why?

10. Why is this kind of stuff even allowed?
This rant by Limbaugh serves no useful purpose. The only thing this rant can do is piss people off. And the people who agree with it, they're the problem that we as a civilized society should be trying our best to get rid of. This isn't the same as a character saying this in a book or a movie, and I see no reason why it should be allowed in the real world. Why do we allow hate? Why is it only Rush can get away with this? Imagine if any other white radio show host in America had said this, or anything else Rush has said, they'd be fired before it got out of their mouth, and for good reason.
