Republican economics in action folks.... Funny read
This is from some fool on a financial board that I frequently read. The thread was about spending less with all the inflation. Here is a republicans take who joined the thread:
"This is no the time to cut back. Instead amp up spending. The economy needs spenders and it's the patriotic thing to do. Remember Bush said after 9/11? He said "go shopping." This is what to do in a recession coupled with hyperinflation which is where we're heading.
Increase credit lines and use your cards to weather the storm. You'll pay these cards back with cheap dollars as they continue to fall and inflation further diminishes their value. Definitely do not put off that vacation. Get in your car and drive there.
Also remember that life is short. What's the point of working even more to get less? Work less, play more. The future does not exist. The only time you have ever existed in is in the present. "
Freaking moron. I only wish I could be there to see his reaction when bush is out of office and he discovers following his heroes "go shopping" advice is resulting in this fool having to file bankruptcy while bush counts his oil money. I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I read this.
1. Not only doesn't this idiot understand economics, he...
...doesn't even understand basic math. He reckons that it's ok to max out credit cards, because the value of the debt will fall because of inflation? What does he think people will be paying the debt off with? Gold? Most people will use their inflation-diminished wages, which will be falling in value as fast as the debt. Or does he think people will be getting big raises during a recession?
