Those who have been following the recent story about the arson fire at the Tx. Governor's Mansion in Austin...a game of Clue:
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/060808dntexmansion.1049fdc5.htmlOkay, I'm just gonna make my guess. The definitive clue for me was seeing Perry's phoney crocodile tears regarding the burned down governor's mansion ("we'll.......dramatic pause...tearful lump in throat...rebuild it"). Anyone who knows anything about this guy would have to be amused.
video - http://www.kvue.com/video/?z=y&nvid=253617&shu=1 So in looking at all the current evidence....I'm gonna guess he was behind the torching of the governor's mansion. Motive? Well there may be more than one, but for now I'd say he doesn't want to live in such a high profile, public building under our watchful eyes, and probably prefers his current hidie-hole like most Republicans who have something to hide and don't want their comings and goings (and that of their guests) to be known and scrutinized. And then there is their general contempt for all things representing government. Drown it in the bathtub or torch it....no dif.
Oh...did I mention he's running again for office?
And he probably has some key people at the Dept. of Public Safety in his pocket.
Wonder who gets the rebuilding contract?
Game over.
