. . .whether the questions asked what those 24% approve of, and whether they highly approve or merely somewhat approve.

The numbers themselves are open to interpretation. What would you say about it being too high, if it turned out that only 14% highly approve of 75% of the policy issues? That would be a lot more believable, wouldn't it?

7. My elderly FIL thinks he's one of the best presidents ever. It is only the very

partisan, wealthy, and most likely older Americans who like him at all. They are retired and live in a different world - don't need to drive much, etc... And the ones who drive are blaming the gas prices on the people who don't want to drill offshore. It is disgusting.
