There is no possibility of our "victory" in Iraq, and as is about to be demonstrated with the upcoming vote on more war appropriations, the one effective path to forcing our withdrawal is 'off the table' with our pathetic Democratic Party leaders. But it would take courage that i am not sure many have...to quint your job or be fired from it and move to a camp site on the White house lawn with the intent of staying until the police arrive with tanks and tear gas to take you out. or your demands are met (not likely as long as they know the numbers of strikers are small.)
But if the numbers were large enough to shut down Washington and the support was there it just could change things. But it would have to be very large, so large that only a huge massacre would stop it to work.
