Nazis? In MY country? O RLY?

YA RLY.

I would like to direct your attention to an episode of the Twilight Zone made in 1963, "He's Alive", about the rise and fall of a struggling neo-nazi movement and it's charismatic but ineffective leader.

Below are youtube links to the episode, divided into six parts. Do any of the things Peter Vollmer says sound particularly outrageous in the context of today's events? I saw this again yesterday after having seen it for the first time as a child, and let me tell you, it hit home. How many people buy this line of schlock today, even though the only difference between Vollmer and modern Mexican-hating Red-blooded American He-men is a difference in wardrobe and the willingness to do the dirty work first hand?

It isn't a masterpiece, but it certainly gets the point across, doesn't it?

2. Not a masterpiece,
but close enough. A lot of those Twilight Zones, Outer Limits, etc episodes from the 1960's were much better than anything I have seen on TV recently. Some really fine actors and writers got their start on those shows, too.

3. Here's another way to view Twilight Zone.

I found this site by accident on Friday and boy was I in heaven for a while. Some of these I don't recall ever seeing and some old favorites were worth viewing again.
