And some how mean that he was the paragon of objectivity. This DOES NOT mean Tim Russert was a damn fine journalist. It means that he basically knew how to ride the middle with the cloak of being objective and unbiased. Tim Russert served his corporate masters. His corporate masters(General Electric) manufacture nuclear weapons among other killing devices. General Electric contributes to both Democrats and Republicans. The fact that there are people on both sides of the political aisle that didn't like Russert is testimony to the fact that they play one party off the other in the corporate media, infotainment, propaganda, news matrix. It's the oldest trick in the book, don't fall for it.

5. And to think , folks attacked me for thinking it was an "insult" to Russet
Because I said KO wasn't as good a journalist. This post takes the cake for rude to a deceased person and his family. Obejectivity is to be 'prized in a journalist " and GE was not always the boss of Russert. He was also a staffer of Danial Patrick Monihan. I appreciateed his abilty to see both sides of an issue .He wasn't just as "talking head".

6. You can't be "rude to a dead person"
They are dead. And Russert wasn't objective, Every thing he said on NBC was to promote GE's stockholders bottom line.

7. Just because he worked for Moynihan decades ago, in NO WAY means that he wasn't a right-wing shill
of late.
read up a bit. MediaMatters is a good place to start: http://mediamatters.org/items/200802290020
also the DailyHowler. There is PLENTY of evidence out there of his MediaWhore-dom.

If only people would read it...
