Question re Bush possible war crimes prosecution abroad:
Does anyone happen to know if there is any country that could try Bush and Cheney IN ABSENTIA for war crimes or simple mass murder? You know, some fascist state like he has tried to make the US into??

Just curious. And giggling at the prospect, if it could be done........

1. I hiked the Inca Trail back in November , and a member of our Party was a lawyer at the Hague -
I BEGGED her to pull whatever strings she could to plant the seeds of trying Bush & Cheney.

William Pepper talked about this I'll loook for the link, it's what he is planning to do

Here it is in the 6th video
http://www.hotpotatomash.com/2008/06/video-exclusive.html

Pepper plans to accomplish this monumental task by following the precedent set in the case of Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet. In that case, a Spanish judge issued an international arrest warrant for Pinochet whose charges including 94 counts of torture.

Ultimately Pepper hopes for a conviction in absentia of the American war criminals which would prevent the guilty from ever stepping foot outside of the United States.
