McCain On Cheney In His Cabinet: "Hell, Yeah."
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11000.html

Going further, McCain even told Hayes in comments heretofore unpublished that he’d consider Cheney for an administration post.

Asked whether he’d be interested in Cheney had the vice president not already have served under Bush for two terms, McCain said: “I don’t know if I would want him as vice president. He and I have the same strengths. But to serve in other capacities? Hell, yeah.”

1. Is he trying to lose?
In the last 24 hours, we've had this quote, "veto every beer" and "not too important" when troops come home.

5. I've been wondering that myself......
.....every dumb mistake that can be made - the Repukes are making it. Everywhere. Forget pulling the Repug brand off the shelves - they should do themselves a favor and recall themselves voluntarily.

ways and the neo-cons know this. They know the next President is going to get blamed for much of what will come home to roost in the next adminstration that comes from this administration. I think the reason McCain is allowed to be the candidate is because they know he will lose. They are saving Romney and their other golden boys for 2012.

16. I agree - and have been thinking this for some time
let the Dems take the heat for 4 years - and R's could install themselves for a generation.

Not only romney, but Jeb would be sitting on the sideline during the next 4 years.

24. The good news is that I believe Obama will trump them.
Even though he lacks experience he strikes me as an intellectually brilliant, but humble man. I believe he will seek the advice of learned experts, not political hacks with a hidden interest in the outcomes. With the right guidance and support from the left, he will be able to undo Bush's legacy. I really believe he can accomplish this. I have to, or I might as well bash my brains out right now.

4. Actually, I think that a fine campaign ad could be made including that
statement. Americans hates the Cheney in huge numbers and the prospect of him near any type of power should shut McCain down. These Rs in DC do not understand how much their policies are held in contempt...they truly believe that the little setback they are experiencing is a PR problem.

3. If this gets any worse, Obama won't even have to bring up the "Bush's 3rd term" stuff anymore.
McCain's plenty capable of doing it himself.

8. He just gets worse.
He actually had to pause and give thought over a Cheney VP position? Too much. I notice MSM hasn't touched this comment. Obama could use it.

11. So Mr. Cheney really is our fuhrer as others have suspected.
Puppet President #2 McCain will give him a powerful post in his government so he can keep doing his dirty business as usual.

17. I'd say "Hell yeah" to having Cheney in *my* cabinet, too...
I'd have him chained to the floor & handcuffed to the pipes. Then I'd open the door every 15 minutes and kick him in the teeth...

Heck, McCain is just handing the election to Obama. Maybe we could hold it tomorrow and move up the inauguration to July 4.
