And here is Edwards, with a lot of short, vague answers.

I would not blame anybody for not answering biased surveys.

3. They have every opportunity to expand on their answers
an example:

Please explain what your two main legislative priorities will be if elected. Please explain
how you would obtain any additional government funding needed to implement these priorities.

4. Vote -smart is not a biased survey.
I helped my congressional candidate fill his out last year.

They ask the tough questions (I haven't checked this one out yet) that a voter would like to know.

9. How do you find how they answered?
And who took the test?

I clicked on the link but at a quick glance, I couldn't find anything.

I am at work and sometimes I don't have a lot of time to search for things.

11. Go to the link and then
Look up the state of the candidates you want to view.

ie. NY for Senator Clinton; Ohio for Kucinich

Then look under where they serve...Senate, Congress, State Official, etc.

Then click on Issue Positions (NPAT) on the left menu
http://votesmart.org/official_five_categories.php?dist=npat.php

The National Political Awareness Test (NPAT) is a key component of Project Vote Smart's Voter Self-Defense system.
Major leaders of the media, major parties and Project Vote Smart repetitiously ask candidates one central question:
''Are you willing to tell citizens your positions on the issues you will most likely face on their behalf?''
The NPAT is administered to all candidates for presidential, congressional, gubernatorial, and state legislative offices.

Select a state: and click GO!

as an example:

Current Officials for New Mexico

President

Congress

Governor

State Offices
Current Candidates

I chose Governor and it came back with Governor Bill Richardson (NM)

Under his picture are some choices:

Photo for Governor Bill Richardson (NM)

Biographical
Issue Positions(NPAT)
Campaign Finances
Interest Group Ratings
Voting Record
Speeches and Public Statements
Vetoes

I clicked Issue Positions(NPAT) and got this:
