Surely treason is worthy of at least one impeachment hearing? No. Because what happens if the Governor (s), Federal Judge (s), State Judge (s), and members of Congress who are told of the crime (s) do and say nothing? What then? What if they violate their oath of office and their conscience in order to do absolutely nothing to defend and uphold the Constitution and the laws of this nation? What if they obstruct justice by blocking legitimate demands for impeachment hearings? Is that itself not a crime?

We - as a nation - are being buried alive by crime after crime, felony after felony, high crime after high crime, and one treasonous act after another. We are drifting aimlessly in a sea of tension and waiting, waiting for someone to do something. We have no avenues left to us, but we have plenty of flags - symbols but no substance. Where are we? What happens now?

This is what happens...

A crossing of the Rubicon, a point of no return so obvious, that all contracts between the governed and the government must be considered null and void by the former because of the criminal actions of the latter. Are we near this point of no return now?

Yes, dangerously so. I shake at the thought of what will happen when that point is finally crossed. I shake and at the same time I know, that we have been here before:

... law passed under Bushco, and if they are found unconstitutional, he will abolish them. But I don't know what that process would be. Can he institute signing statements to simply declare null and void those phony laws?

If successful with such a plan, I fear for him, because of exactly what this OP talks about -- the wholesale corruption of our current government. Dennis has put it out there so that it can never be said that they didn't know. Now, they will need to opt in or opt out and circle the wagons in favor of the status quo.

We the Patriots face much more draconian measure for population control than our founders in 1776. But to them, a musket ball through the head yielded the same result as a microwave weapon today.

It's time for sleep. That right and privilege is becoming less and less easy to achieve.
