Conclusion: Impeachment proceedings will begin after the tidal wave in November. I believe this was the plan all along.

I have always believed that the Bush co organization would do something to stop the election like another attack and a war started with Iran so that Martial Law can go into affect and the election would be postponed in this time of terror.

I think the current Dem congress has no clue how to conduct itself as effectively as the "loyal opposition"—none of the leadership are worth a bucket of warm piss in that regard. That said, having articles of impeachment on the table does change the equation a bit, especially given Bush's immense unpopularity. Anything they can do to clarify the potential consequences in the event that he attacks Iran is a good thing, IMO.
