Pittsburgh Mulls Gay Partner Registry
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon08/06/060408pit.htm

(Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) An openly gay Pittsburgh councilmember has filed legislation that would allow people living together in committed relationships to register with the city.

Councilmember Bruce Kraus said the proposal is similar to one already in place in Philadelphia.

It would be open to both unmarried opposite-sex and same-sex couples.

Couples would be required to produce three documents indicating "mutual responsibility." After paying a $25 fee they would then sign a domestic partner registry and receive a document signifying they are registered.
