2. Actually i think he got what he wanted

He wanted to damage Obama and Clinton as much as possible; he doesn't feel confident in McCain. So the only way to support McCain is to make sure everybody knows how bad the Democrats are. So we've now got a candidate who's been pretty well bloodied by the primary process.

That said, I think he knows it won't be enough. Obama will still probably win; but he will win damaged, which is, again, what Limbaugh wanted.

sure, our guy may suck, but your guy sucks even more.

I knew a lot of Republics in 2004 that were going to vote for Kerry in the summer of 2004. However, they later admitted they voted Bush because they saw him as the lesser of two evils because Rove & his minions and the media had so effectively demonized Kerry.
