McCain Bravely Ignores Hunger Strike at his Arizona Office!

Senator McCain is ignoring the hunger strike, now in its 10th Day , taking place at the front door of his Arizona office.

Unfortunately for him, the local media is not.

The Associated Press put out wire coverage that has been picked up by a bunch of news services, and the major Arizona daily, The Arizona Republic.

McCain's office handed a letter to the hunger striker, Blair Gadsby, saying that McCain's schedule was the problem, but when prompted for a response from the AP, "A Senate aide to McCain did not immediately respond to requests for comment late Tuesday.", so not everybody is on the same page at team McCain.

A Republican State Senator, Karen Johnson, is calling on McCain to heed the hunger striker, and meet with him.

C'mon Senator McCain! Show some spine!
