McCain ............. is fucking ............. crazy
He really is. He's an out of touch old coot. His speech is lame and his speech patterns are bizarre. The audience is full of morons booing the lamest crap spew from him. To say nothing of the fact that it sounds like there may be 20 or 30 ... maaaaaybe 40 people in the room. And the timbre of their voices makes me think they might be 20 .... 25 years old.

Get the fuck outta Dodge, you old coot. You're pathetic.

12. He does when he whsipers - almost hisses - "My Friends. I will never surrender"
He is CREEPY when he does that. It highlights and emphasizes his cootness.

24. McCain does a pretty good Peter Lorre imitation
in that softspoken whispering voice that's on the edge between benign and malevolent.

5. And of those 40 people in the room...
I loved what Kos just wrote about this:

I hope somewhat compares the acoustics of this event and Obama's. It sounds like McCain is in a high school auditorium, with bored parents watching a bad talent show. The applause is lackluster. The cheers and jeers weak. There is no excitement. Absolutely zero passion.

9. I wonder if he believes people don't know his voting record
for the same policies he's attacking in this bullshit speech.
Pathetic is an understatement. This is really, really bad - cliche after cliche followed by 'vote McSame' which sounds exactly the same as 'four more years'

KO interrupts to declare Obama the presumptive nominee - Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

11. At least Bush's speeches have been incredible stand-up comedy routines
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 08:05 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
with the primitive grunts, tics, and head bobs as he hunches and pans a room. McCain's speeches are as devoid of content as Chimp's, but without the belly laughs. They might as well be delivered by a cardboard cut-out photo of McCain and a loudspeaker.

16. We Need Change...Not McCain
His speeches are boring...I stopped to listening them. Every other sentence is punctuated with ....my friends.

I am not friends with warmongers.

23. That's a recycled '64 response to Goldwater's "In your heart, you know he's right"
But it fits so nicely this time around.

28. my dittohead sister said that tonight
She's a diehard suburban retired librarian. She had been leaning toward McCain because of his "story" but she told me tonight that he looked really crazy. Of course she thinks Obama is "creepy" and up until tonight she hated Hillary but says Hillary has earned her grudging respect for being so hard-working and resiliant. That's amazing in itself. She's hated the Clintons for a long time.
