Chief Wana Dubie told he can't run for office
Chief Wana Dubie among those booted off Missouri's primary ballot; officials deny that attack of munchies ended campaign

Perhaps it’s fitting that a blog called Prime Buzz would bring you the sad news that the Missouri governor’s race will have to go on without Libertarian candidate Chief Wana Dubie.

Dubie was one of 38 candidates – including three candidates for governor – who were disqualified or withdrew from the August primary election. In Dubie’s case, it was neither a failure to file paperwork nor a sudden attack of the munchies that caused his disqualification.

Ryan Hobart, spokesman for Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, said Dubie was tossed off the ballot because the Libertarian Party refused to accept his $200 filing fee.

Other candidates were dumped from the ballot for a variety of reasons, such as failing to live within the district they sought to represent or failing to file required paperwork.

4. That really pisses me off.
I'm gonna write a letter as soon as I finish my bag of marshmallows and a plate of chocolate covered tuna balls.
