Sharper Image to close remaining 86 stores


Bankrupt gadget retailer Sharper Image plans to close all its remaining stores, its new owners announced Sunday.


The company expects to sell $50 million in inventory as it shutters 86 stores across the United States, the joint owners of Hilco Organization and Gordon Brothers said in a statement.

I will really miss shopping in these stores and the free massages I got over the years while shopping at the mall.

At first I came here simply to promote my website (which I got flamed for). Now I'm finding DU a very interesting place to hang out. I love to see other people's insight on this very interesting time in our political history.

As I watched the DNC rules committee on Saturday, I couldn't help but to think that some day HBO would make another "Recount" like movie about the 2008 Democratic race. It's been a crazt ride so far and it doesn't look like it's over just yet (even though Chuck Todd's boss, Tim Russert said so).

...a market that was more interested in putting food on their families.

They should have aimed lower.
