Mike's Webb page is still up at: http://www.mikewebb.org/ If you never heard him, browse around. You'll get to know him pretty easily and understand the loss.

Or maybe just listen to some of the audio gems up at: http://www.mikewebb.org/audio.htm

But his partner in starting up Progressive Networks has resumed the effort. Worth checking out. Not Mike Webb, but it's good to see a part of his work being moved forward.

3. A great loss indeed.
He was the first person with any kind of amplified voice I ever heard mention PNAC, at a rally in Volunteer Park (there's a recording at the audio link). I knew about it already, but he made me aware that there was at least one person on the radio who was telling the truth. I began listening every night, and searching further discovered IEAmerica on the net with Malloy, Hartmann, Skinner, Werbe, and on from there. He was a revolutionary and a ground breaker and a teacher.

2. Thanks. I'll always miss Mike Webb.
Whenever I turn on my radio at night, I still think of him and wish he were here.

4. Yes, me too.
My radio at home is just off since he lost that KIRO gig, but for a while I was always turning up-down the volume of the radio and the net stream of Malloy in order to listen to both during the one hour they were in conflict. His audio archives show why he should have become a nationwide voice. His ability to do mixes that really put the message into 3D was unmatched.
