HBO revisits 2000 election with 'Recount'
"Political operatives who were involved in the most dramatic election of our lifetimes say HBO's "Recount" brings back the intensity."

"Not all the details are perfect in the made-for-TV movie that condenses the 36 days it took to decide the 2000 presidential election into two hours, and Republicans aren't thrilled that their opponents come across as the film's heroes, but the consensus is the filmmakers summed up the spirit of the events that had the world on edge."

Anything that shows how disgraceful this matter was handled is ok with me. I still have flashbacks over that infamous pic of katherine harris on a horse...and the freepers literally having an orgy with it!

1. I for one have no interest in watching
I don't care how well done it is. I know what happened and I don't see much entertainment value in it. Bad waves of paranoia. Madness. Fear and loathing.

2. Funny, eight years later and still nothing more has been done about what
most of us know was illegal as hell....

I just don't understand how they continue to get away with anything and everything while laughing at it's citizens inability to ensure justice prevails....

Who can you trust in government? Do we really believe that they will willingly give up the power they have held so strongly these past eight years?

All I have seen done is stories getting told and retold without accomplishing much else, subpoenas being issued but continually being ignored and the powers that be continue to reap their awards for unquestioning loyalty while the american people are falsely allowed to believe their outrage might one day be addressed...

If justice has not been served by now I doubt very seriously it ever will.
