Neil Boortz is flat out lying about Big Oil, saying they're actually making LESS MONEY
I just heard him on the radio, he's taking figures, trying to twist and spin them, trying to confuse people by talking about profits versus profit margins, and telling everyone that Big Oil is actually making less money now than they have over the past few years.

And THIS is the guy who wants to replace the current tax system with his own little scheme?

1. Maybe he's honestly confused. I've heard Saudi Arabia is making less money...
... because they're selling their oil in US Dollars, which are now worth a whole lot less.

2. I heard some stats yesterday from the hearing with the oil execs...
I think it was Exxon or Chevron? And their profits had gone from like 11.5 billion in 2001 to over 40 billion this year. A growth of almost $6 billion per year since then. Yep, they're making less money!

4. The more RW talk hosts defend big oil the smaller their audience becomes.

5. You had me at, "Neil Boortz is flat out lying"
That would be a true statement, regardless the topic, with Neil Boore. :boring:
